Companionship Care
The purpose of companionship care is to offer company and friendship. Companions may help with certain household chores, such as laying out towels before a shower, but their primary purpose is to spend time with the patient. Grown children may want to hire companions to keep an eye on their aging parents, for example. Services offered by companionship care include:
- Transportation
- Reading a book aloud
- Playing games
- Accompanying the patient for a walk outside
- Letter writing
- Monitoring the home
Where does personal care take place?
Personal care takes place in the home, but can also be used to supplement care in other locations such as hospital, long-term care facilities, nursing homes and where the client maybe at the time when service is requested.

Caregiving:
Services are provided by home health aides, companions and certified home health aides.
CHRONIC ILLNESS AND SYMPTOM MANAGEMENT:
These services are designed to reduce frequent trips to the hospital and rehab facilities. The care programs are designed by Nurses.
CARE MANAGEMENT & CARE COORDINATION:
These services are provided by Clinicians and Geriatric Care Managers. The goal is to make long distance care giving easier and more gratifying for the long distance or the very busy family caregiver.
MEDICATION MANAGEMENT:
Medication management is performed and overseen by our nurses.
Our Nurses will perform the ordering and following through with the family and doctor if necessary.
Weekly to monthly set ups and monitoring.
Medication administration- including injections, inhalants, eye drops, oral, and topical medications.
Updating doctors and receiving orders for medication changes and calling pharmacy with changes
